DRYSCAN cut points not only can be selected across the entire range of density fractions (1.3-2.2), but also to separate low ash (pictured bottom), low volatile heat affected coal particles (pictured middle) from high quality metallurgic coal , (pictured top)

DRYSCAN equally can optimise resources by removing interburden, sporadic dilution and partings of black stone, basalt or other types of higher ash particles.
